Summer in the Mesh Grill

Ingredients

1 chicken breast, boned
1 Kranjska sausage
1 red pepper
5 cherry tomatoes
1/2 red onion
a small jar of black roasted olives
1 teaspoon salt, a pinch of ground pepper
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 sprig of rosemary
1 sprig of savory
1 sprig of sage


Cut meat and peppers into 1 inch cubes. Cut the sausage
into thick rings. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and stir. Add
oil to the mixture and stir again. Put the chunks on the
mesh grill. Add whole tomatoes to make the dish juicier.
Put roasted black olives, roughly cut onion and sprigs of
herbs on the top. Close the grill, put it over the fire and cook
slowly. From time to time, drizzle with oil if necessary. Serve
with assorted spreads with which you have stuffed peppers
of various colours.

 

A tip: You can roast the dish in the oven at 200°C instead.
