The trademark ‘It protects health’ is awarded by the Slovenian Society of Cardiovascular Health to selected foods which meet certain standards. The image is designed as a heart surrounded with the letter Q, with the slogan ‘It protects health’. Protective foods are health-suitable products containing low levels of fats, saturated fatty acids (SFA), cholesterol, salt and sugar, low caloric value and plenty of dietary fibre.

The SLOPAK company has the exclusive right to award the Green point in Slovenia. The green point signifies that the product package is included in the system of managing waste packaging, so it is collected, re-used, recycled or processed in some other appropriate way. The Green point is the most widely used environmental sign in Europe and appears on packaging. It means that the producer is included in the SLOPAK system of waste management packaging and regularly settles its obligations regarding these services.

This oval sign guarantees consumers that the product complies with the most rigorous criteria of veterinary regulations in Slovenia which are in accordance with the EU quality standards.

The Mobius strip is a symbol for a product or package which will end up in the collection and recycling processes. The symbol is a public good and is not subjected to the regulation of author’s rights. Each side of the Mobius strip represents one part of a successful recycling chain: collection, recycling into a new product, purchasing a product made of recycled material. When the product is made of a primary raw material and recycled material, the quantity of the recycled material can be written in the middle of the strip.

In regulations of some countries, e.g. Croatia, this sign is used as a symbol on packaging suitable for recycling.
